CHARITIES WE SUPPORT
Hazlemere Youth Centre is a Registered Charity (No:1159457) but we are a centre for the community and feel as part of that role we should support the local community. Going forwards we will hopefully be offering many different services for the community, but more on this to come with time.

Each year we will support local charities that are close to our hearts here at HYC and for 2015/16 we are supporting Orla's Own Steps and Manor Farm Pre-School.
​
All our events that we hold throughout the year will be supporting these charities in raising monies and also awareness in how you can help them. So please help us give them a great year.
Manor Farm Pre-School

About Us
Manor Farm Pre-School was opened in 1976 to provide high quality care for the children in our community. The pre-school leases a bright, stimulating self-contained area on the grounds of Manor Farm Infant School.

Our aim is to ensure that children feel safe and happy in the absence of their parents and to provide opportunities so that children can flourish in the care of our loving staff.

Fundraising Target
We love the fact that our children can play outside at any time of the year, however our all-weather outdoor play surface is now in need of replacing. The surface was installed over 7 years ago and is now beginning to show signs of wear and if not replaced may become a hazard. At the same time we would like to erect a wooden porch to replace the existing one to make better use of the area as the original one leaks and does not provide shelter from the sun.

We now need to focus on the outdoor area to maintain its safety and suitability for our children's enjoyment and education. To replace this surface and add the new outdoor porch will cost around £15500.
​
